IB DP Physics · first assessment 2025
Every constant and equation in the Physics data booklet, set out in the same order. Point at a symbol, tap it, or reach it with the Tab key, and it tells you what it stands for and its unit.
This is an unofficial study aid based on version 1.2 of the booklet (updated November 2023). It is not an IB publication and cannot be taken into an examination: use the clean copy your school provides. Absolute-value bars identify magnitude-only relations where needed; notes explain their signs. For a signed change, \(\Delta X=X_\mathrm{f}-X_\mathrm{i}\). For an isolated system, \(\Delta E_\mathrm{total}=0\). In the uncertainty rules, \(\Delta\) denotes a non-negative uncertainty, not a signed change.
